Greetings! This is just a quick update. I’m traveling from Haiti to the US today. Then a wedding, then off to Nottingham, Edinburgh, and Cambridge for three weeks (annual three-week trip designated to full-time research and writing).
All this being the case, posting may be sporadic. I say “may” because as manuscripts develop, I will post what I sense is ready for a public read.
What will I be reading? First and foremost, my reading will be focused on works related to my dissertation (Biblical Hebrew verse and discourse linguistics). Second, Psalms as Torah by Gordon Wenham. Great stuff so far. Highly recommended for an undergraduate text for orienting students to deeper psalms study. Third, NT Wright’s Paul and the Faithfulness of God. I’m still in the first two volumes. As usual, great stuff.
When my brain gets tired, I’ll default to Grisham (Racketeer, then Sycamore Row).
Blessing,
M
